At
the far end of the pool terrace a broad series of
steps leads you down to the sunken garden parterre.
A fountain draws your eye beyond the flowers to the
raised "secret room" just above at the apex
of the view.
It was important to break the length of the view.
The boxwood edged garden provides the pattern to break
the length and the sequential bloom.
The perennial beds
gives the whole space the energy to draw you into
the gardens through to the "Secret Room"
where you can sit and view back across to the pool
area (through the garden). The benches in the secret
room are inviting and give the owners or their guests
a reason to
go there. |
